What is AIESEC anyway?
A place to Become
We are not looking for perfect people.
We are not looking for people that have it all figured out.
We are looking for people who see the injustices, insecurity and ugliness of our societies and want to make them better.
If you are daily concerned about how to make a society that does not discriminate, a society where everyone has equal opportunities, a society where ideas and businesses can thrive, then you are in the right place
A Place to #CreateYourself

What will I do in AIESEC?
Customer Experience and Marketing
Our main customers in AIESEC are youth and businesses. In Customer Experience and Marketing, you will be part of our team to attract new customers, manage our existing relationships and ensure that our experiences are always what we promise: life-changing.
As part of our sales team in AIESEC, you will have the opportunity to develop your research and negotiation skills. You will be part of teams that deliver quality experiences for our organization partners which include Electrolux, Volvo, Husqvarna, Scania and Northvolt amongst others.
You will work with our in-house Human Resources team to ensure our people are always performing efficiently. You will be part of teams that attract needed talent to the organization, organize events in our locations across Sweden as well as manage communications within the organization.
Our projects teams are some of the most important teams within AIESEC. You can be part of teams responsible for finding top international talent for our organization partners in Sweden; if you are passionate about volunteering and the SDGs, you can be part of teams responsible for helping Swedish youth impact the world through volunteer experiences in over 120 countries and territories worldwide.
How does AIESEC develop members?
Learn by Doing
We believe, and time has shown, that people learn better and faster when given the opportunity to practice what they learn. In AIESEC, in addition to training our members, we give them practical scenarios to practise and develop their skills. This means that from the moment you join AIESEC, you start learning how to lead people, organizations and how to make data-driven, smart decisions.
Travel and Cross Cultural Immersion
Travel is a huge part of what we do in AIESEC as when you travel, you meet people with different ideas than yours which challenge your world view, and have cultural experiences which inspire you. Within Sweden or outside of it, be prepared to travel with AIESEC, for conferences and trainings, international exchange experiences, or even on Team Days with members of your local community.
Within AIESEC, we have a set of standards that are continuously met for our membership. We call them the Team Standards and they ensure that every member of AIESEC is developing themselves professionally in their chosen department, and personally in a set of goals they outline at the start of every quarter. We review quarterly to make sure these goals are met and if not, how to meet them.
All applications will be via a digital form on this platform (join.aiesec.se). After application, shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email.
Physical Interviews are organized on rolling basis and will be at the city you want to join AIESEC in. In select cases however, virtual interviews may be considered.
After interviews, selected candidates will be contacted via email or phone to confirm that they are now members of AIESEC!
All new members are mandated to attend their induction into AIESEC which will happen at our conference, Engage 2019 between September 20 – 22. The conference will cost a maximum of kr700 (excl travel cost sharing) and will cover meals, accommodation and stationery within the conference.
